Having studied for a degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design at Leeds College of Art, my work is primarily textiles based, with strong roots in hand crafting. My more recent work has been heavily foucsed around the art of embroidery, both by hand and machine and exploring the two opposing methods of production, as well as exploring skills such as screen-printing, lino cutting, digital printing and illustration. The driving force behind my work is the ideas and ethos of The Arts and Crafts Movement.
